Billet Oil Catch Can (fits 07-12 Mustang Shelby GT500) UPR – Catch Can-Black

Brand new Aerospace Racing Billet Catch Can Kit for your 2007-2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Developed to eliminate oil from entering your intake by engine blow-by, which channels oil and trash into your direct air stream from the valve train. This is a common problem on both brand new and especially older engines, which just suffer more from blow by due to wear and tear. The most common problem is making your car emit light blueish white smoke upon start up or even during normal driving. The throttle body handles your main air stream and has a breather tube running from the crankcase to the throttle body. The vacuum from the incoming airstream and positive pressure in the crankcase combine to get oil in the air tract. Every car and vehicle is set up this way to help eliminate the pressure build-up in the bottom end of your engine enabling the piston to move up and down with less resistance. These catch cans feature a containment system and separator that force all the debris to get captured and contained in the filter while still allowing airflow thus maintaining full function of the breather system. This catch can has been long awaited and is one of the most needed items for the late model performance world. We have had countless customers install our new Aerospace Mustang Billet Catch Can and get immediate results in both idle quality and vehicle performance. Another key problem caused by oil in the intake is that it reduces the octane of your fuel and causes detonation especially in turbo, supercharger and nitrous applications.
The UPR Oil Catch Can features a three chamber design CNC machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum unlike some of our competitors models that are single chamber tanks that don’t properly trap the oil or debris.
Installs in 20-30 minutes or less. This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected. Upgrades are available to allow you to tailor the kit to fit your needs.

Optional Parts:

UPR Billet One-Way Valve Cover Breather:
These are Valve Cover Breathers with a one-way valve inside of it. These are designed to allow excess/positive crankcase pressure to exit through the breather when in boost. Then it closes to return to vacuum while driving to prevent un-metered air from entering to maintain perfect drivability. These are also ideal for vehicles in very cold or freezing weather as it allows crankcase pressure to escape until condensation or frozen condensation in the PCV hoses melts or thaws. This is a must to ensure maximum engine seal life.

SS Magnetic Drain Plug:
The Stainless Steel magnetic drain plug would replace the drain plug on the bottom of the catch can with an allen head plug that has a magnet embedded into it. It will attract any ferrous metal material to it so the user can inspect it. If you select this option you can not also use the Drain Line kit below.

Drain Line Kit:
The drain line kit includes a drain valve, hose and fittings needed to install the drain valve. It allows the user to relocate the drain somewhere easier to access like the wheel well opening or bumper area. If you select this option you can not also use the Magnetic Drain Plug.

Replacement O-Rings:
Spare O-rings for the catch can cup. If the O-ring is lost, torn or if it’s just time to replace it due to wear it’s a good idea to have a couple of spares in the glove box.
